“I’ve been working with Carl for a little over two years now, and I’ve been able to grow a lot as an athlete over that time. First off, Carl is really great when it comes to injury management/rehab. He helped me get me through a pretty significant quad injury and a shoulder injury, adjusting my positioning/ movements/ patterns and overall programming to get me feeling good again. Injuries aside, Carl is also very open minded when it comes to programming in general. He’s willing to try unconventional/new things as he sees fit for his clients. Competitively, Carl got me to my first powerlifting meet. He recognized my needs as a person and was able to work around my life circumstances. Despite the limited amount of time of “solid” prep we had and the stresses of doing a water cut (which he also coached me through) for my first meet, I had a very solid performance. I definitely owe Carl a lot for helping me get to where I am now and have full trust in him as my coach! & With everything I’ve learned from him, I’m confident in helping/educating others as well and am eager to learn more for myself.”
